This course is ideal for the beginner or other tradesman wishing to add the skill of painting and decorating to their range of work. This course is also designed for anybody wishing to enhance their DIY skills for around the home or maintain property. No previous experience is necessary and all training is practical with no written work. Training is carried out in a purpose built training bay which will be allocated to you at the start of your course.

- The correct use of tools and equipment
- Preparation of new and old surfaces before painting
- Repairing imperfections in walls and wood
- Application of various products to surfaces
- The proper use of a roller
- Wallpapering techniques
On completion of the course you will have achieved an excellent working knowledge of products and techniques to enable you to find work in painting and decorating. Many students use this course as a basis to form their own painting and decorating business.

For the duration of your chosen course all materials, tools and equipment will be supplied. A full tool kit can be supplied to take away with you at the end of your course if you require, prices for these can be supplied on request.
